CHRISTINE
Christine, who grew up in Brussels, Belgium, feels really blessed to have this special connection with pets, giving pure love that is truly feeding her soul. She raised a Border Collie, named Sammy, and two beautiful Belgian cats, Vanille & Sakura. Her best friend for 15 years, Vanille was very clever and quickly learned to sit to get a treat. Christine, who speaks English, French, Dutch and Spanish, loves nature, hiking and walking–passions that she enjoys sharing with all the pets she cares for. She considers herself a pet whisperer and can’t wait to meet your pet.
HEATHER
Heather is a native of San Diego. She has experience with dogs, cats, and exotic pets. After working many years as a teacher and environmental specialist, she decided to pursue her passion for working with animals. Through the years in animal care education, she was an exotic animal handler, Critter Camp Counselor, zoo guide and educator. She gets satisfaction caring for furry, scaly, spiky, feathered family members so you can feel at ease that your pets are getting the proper care and attention while you are away. Her heart lights up when caring for your pets. She is passionate about caring for animals of all shapes and sizes!
ANDREW
My name is Andrew and I was born and raised in San Diego, California. I am an outdoor enthusiast and love spending time with animals, specifically dogs! I like to spend my time camping, mountain biking, hiking, and enjoying the great outdoors. I have a little pup that I rescued from Mexico who is my companion and I take him on all of my camping trips. I hope I can meet your critters soon too and I look forward to caring for your pets.
ELIZABETH
A native of San Diego County, California, Elizabeth was raised in Encinitas and Ramona. During that time, her family had seven dogs, two cats and numerous horses. This gave life to her love of animals. Being around animals has taught her to show love, compassion, and responsibility. As a dog walker, Elizabeth has an opportunity to experience that every day. Her motto is simple: treat every client’s animal as if it were your own.
HAYLEY
Growing up in Escondido and Valley Center, California, Hayley was never without a furry companion, which has undoubtedly inspired her lifelong passion for animals. She has found tremendous joy in caring for her own dogs, cats, and hamsters, her neighbors’ horses and farm animals, and many other pets at the boarding kennel where she volunteered and worked for six years. Hayley admires animals for their selflessness and compassion, which she strives to reciprocate for all animals in her care.
JILL
Jill is a married mom to a grown son and furr-baby Russian Blue kitty. Born in the suburbs of NJ, with a love of all animals, was titled ‘horse crazy’ as a kid then pursued her equine obsession as an adult avidly riding and training till today. Jill hasn’t met any four-leggeds who haven’t become fast friends and although she enjoys a wonderful career, she loves her time with God’s amazing creatures!
JOANNA
Born and raised in North County San Diego, California, her heart lives at the beach, preferably a dog friendly beach. She was never able to have her own dog as a child so always adopted friends and other family members dogs as her own. Naturally, as an adult Joanna became the resident dog sitter along with realizing a true passion for dogs. Nothing compares to wagging tails at the door and the unrelenting love and loyalty. And with each dog’s personality, there is never a dull moment. Life is best spent with four legged friends.
JUDY
Judy has enjoyed a lifelong love of pets. As a child in Fresh Meadows, New York, her first pet was a female tortoise shell kitty who was incredibly playful. She loved climbing up on her tall kitty condo and then standing on her head! Judy adores the unconditional love and companionship that pets provide. And, she’s continually amazed by the intelligence and loyalty of dogs. For Judy, seeing a dog light up as they get ready to enjoy a morning or evening stroll to the park is so rewarding!
LESLIE
Leslie grew up in Orange County and live in Oceanside, California with two dogs, four cats, a bird, and an Iguana. She's volunteered at the Carlsbad County Animal Shelter, San Diego Humane Society, Feral Cat Coalition for over 18 years. At the age of 12, Leslie's love of animals prompted her to become a vegetarian. The last 12 years she's been a strict vegan. In 2016, She won an award from the Humane Society for my advocacy work to help stop puppy mills. She learn from animals and they have taught her to be a better person.
NEDRA
Nedra has worked in animal rescue for the past 20 years. She became a Reiki Master in 2008 and started her journey towards becoming a small animal acupressure practitioner in April of 2010. She is Nationally Certified in Small Animal Acupressure, Equine Acupressure and Small Animal Massage through NBCAAM. National Board of Certification for Animal Acupressure and Massage. Nedra works with all types of creatures. Dogs, Cats, Horses, Exotics, and Humans. Making sure pets are happy and comfy physically and emotionally is really important to her and she has several ways to do that.
SEAN
Sean, who grew up in Carlsbad, California loves going on walks with dogs. A graduate from San Francisco State University, he believes walking with dogs is a great way to get to know them and their own unique personalities. For example, his family’s dog – a blonde labradoodle – likes to reach out with her paw to indicate that she wants you to continue petting her. A volunteer at the Animal Services Shelter in Carlsbad, Sean rewards dogs with greenie sticks. “They’re good for their teeth and breath and we all know how bad a dog’s breath can smell.“
